Overview
The second report in our EV app series turns to home charging, analysing 2,062 public reviews of ten leading UK home-charging apps. The average rating was a low 2.9 out of 5, with app crashes, connectivity and scheduling the dominant complaints and cost-saving the benefit drivers valued most. Most Jobs-to-be-Done were underserved; only customising settings and managing overall energy consumption scored adequately.

Key findings
Average weighted rating 2.9 out of 5, ranging from 4.1 at the top to 1.9 at the bottom.
App crashes, connectivity and sync failures, and charge-scheduling are the top pain points.
Some brands show a marked iOS-versus-Android experience gap, notably Ohme and Rolec.
